  • Brittany DuPont – Legal Assistant

    Brittany DuPont

    Brittany has been with the firm since December 2013 as a receptionist/administrative assistant. In the beginning of 2016 Brittany transitioned from receptionist/administrative assistant to legal secretary in the estate planning and probate department. Brittany currently attends Daytona State College and intends to graduate with her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. Brittany was born and raised in Florida and recently married her high school sweetheart. She enjoys spending her free time riding her horses or doing other outdoor activities.

  • Caroline McNeil – Paralegal

    Caroline McNeil

    Caroline has been with the firm since May 2012 and is the paralegal to Michael D. Chiumento III working on his real estate, land use development, and litigation matters. She has an Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelors of Applied Science in Business Supervision and Management both from Daytona State College. Caroline moved to Palm Coast in 2005 from Massachusetts. She is married to Scott and they have a son Patrick and a labradoodle named Bentley. Caroline is an avid support of the ALS Association – Florida Chapter.

  • Jeanne M. Richter – Paralegal

    Jeanne M. Richter

    A Florida native, born and raised in Volusia County and relocating to Flagler and Volusia Counties in 2005. Jeanne, joined the firm as a Paralegal to attorney Marc Dwyer in July 2017. She remains committed to advocating on behalf of the community and her clients. Upon graduating from Spruce Creek High School in Volusia County, Jeanne attended two years at Daytona State College studying Interior Design and Architecture while working as a Personal Lines Insurance Agent.

    Starting her legal career in 2001, Jeanne brings to our firm over 16 years of experience in the legal field and has assisted attorneys in Family Law, Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability, Criminal Law and Employment Law.

  • Karolyn Sheekey – Legal Assistant

    Karolyn Sheekey

    Karolyn has been a legal assistant with the firm since October 1990. She is married to Brian and they have a dog Shiloh. Karolyn enjoys reading, cooking, and watching sports.

  • Katie Vitale – Florida Registered Paralegal

    Katie Vitale

    Katie is the personal injury paralegal with experience in defense litigation and has been with the firm since March 2014. She has an Associate’s Degree from Macomb Community College in Mt. Clemens, Michigan and a Bachelor’s of Arts from University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. She is also a Florida Registered Paralegal and an active member of the Homeless Committee of the Flagler/Volusia ACLU. A Detroit native who moved to Florida in 2008, she and her son, Trey are self-proclaimed “foodies” who love travel, live theatre and gardening on the weekends. Katie has also been very involved in Trey’s football teams through the Police Athletic League and Flagler Palm Coast High School.

  • Kelly DeVore – Certified Paralegal

    Kelly DeVore

    Kelly DeVore has been with the firm since 1995 and started in our residential real estate department. She came to us from Palm Coast Abstract & Title. Kelly has her A.S. in Paralegal Studies and is a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants. In 2009 she became a Licensed Title Agent through the State of Florida in order to manage and run the firm’s first title company, Pioneer Title Services, LLC.   Kelly has over 26 years’ of experience in residential and commercial real estate and has also worked in various other areas of law over the years.    She currently is the firm’s real estate paralegal on both commercial and residential transactions as well as a closing agent/licensed title agent for Pioneer Title Services, LLC, the firm’s title company.

  • Maria Ponce de Leon-Eckley – Legal Administrator

    Maria Ponce de Leon-Eckley

    Maria serves as the firm’s office manager/legal administrator since September 1999. She is responsible for overseeing all business and administrative matters for the firm including finance, time and billing, payroll, human resources and facilities. Maria received her Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana in 1981. She is an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators and the Flagler Chamber Professional Women's Council.

    Maria is married to Greg and together they have a son, Eric. Maria and her family have been residents of Flagler and Volusia Counties since 1986 when she relocated from Rockland County, New York. She enjoys cooking, yoga, spending time with family, and is an avid NFL Jaguars fan. She is also the co-owner of Professional Pool Service of Flagler Co., Inc.

  • Michele Hurd – Certified Paralegal

    Michele Hurd

    Michele is the estate planning, probate, and guardianship paralegal with over twenty years of experience and has been with the firm since September 2002. She has an Associates in Paralegal Studies from Daytona State College and is a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants. Michele is a Florida native who grew up in Volusia County and currently resides in Flagler and Volusia Counties, and she is married with two daughters.

  • Nicole Hatin – Administrative Assistant

    Nicole Hatin

    Nicole started with the firm in October 2017 as the receptionist/administrative assistant. She attended Matanzas High School for a short time before graduating from Florida Virtual School. She will tackle any task given to her as a very dedicated worker. Hoping to return to school to further her career with the law firm, she is very upbeat and friendly. She enjoys spending time with her Fiancé, Robert and his 7-year-old daughter, Ashlynn and walking with her German Shepherd named Ranger.

  • Rose Bardouille – Paralegal

    Rose Bardouille

    Rose Bardouille comes to us from Bank of America where she was an Assistant Vice President and Operations Team Manager with the Default Litigation Group. Currently she is working at the firm as a Paralegal and Case Manager. She has over twenty years of experience as a Paralegal. She has extensive litigation, bankruptcy and default litigation banking experience. She is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants. She is the current Family Life Director at her church, and is very involved in her church’s Family Life group. In her spare time, she enjoys jogging, mentoring disenfranchised children and travelling with her family

  • Vanessa Hermosillo – Paralegal

    Vanessa Hermosillo

    Vanessa is an Immigration and Litigation Paralegal with over twenty years of experience in the legal field and has been with the firm since March 2016. Vanessa attended Georgia State University where she studied Accounting and Criminal Justice. She is originally from Miami and speaks fluent Spanish. She currently resides in Volusia County with her husband and two children. Vanessa spends her spare time cooking, reading and supporting her children in horse riding competitions, football and mixed martial arts, where they are working towards their black belts.

  • Erin McManus – Receptionist

    Erin McManus

    Erin started working for the firm in July 2018 as a receptionist. She is originally from Massachusetts and moved here to Flagler County in 2003 where she graduated in 2015 from Matanzas High School. She is working towards completing her Associates in Science for Criminal Justice and wants to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree and move up with the law firm in the future. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Brandon and do outdoor activities like four wheeling and finishing.

  • Vickie Taylor – Elder Law Coordinator/Marketing & Events Coordinator

    Vickie Taylor

    Vickie joined the firm in January 2011 with 20 years of experience in Estate Planning & Elder Law. Originally from Kentucky, Vickie majored in nursing at the University of Kentucky and relocated to Florida from Arizona in 2005 to care for her mother who had Alzheimer’s. These experiences make her a much more compassionate advocate for our clients and their families dealing with the long-term care system here in Florida. Vickie continues to volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association and is past-president and support group facilitator for Alzheimer’s Resource Council of Flagler County. She also handles all the firm’s marketing functions and events. Vickie was third of four generations of UK alumni in her family and remains an avid UK basketball fan.
