Attorney Recognized for Pro Bono Work

VLS Pro Bono 2020Michael Chuimento III, Managing Partner, is pleased to announce attorney Vincent Sullivan has been honored for his pro bono volunteer work with St. Johns County Legal Aid for the third time in his five years of practice since becoming a lawyer.

“Between the bi-monthly interviews with legal aid clients, and volunteering to assist legal aid clients with their various legal situations, Vincent has again proven his dedication to our community” said Michael Chiumento, III. “Through the trials and tribulations of zoom meetings and working from home, Vincent doubled down for the community by assisting clients in a variety of consumer defense arenas such as credit card debt defense, foreclosure defense, and landlord tenant issues,” Michael added. Vincent has been volunteering with St. Johns County legal aid since law school which equates to more than 5 years of service to the community.

The term Pro bono means that the attorney is not charging for their services. According to the Florida Bar’s most recent rate survey, an attorney’s average hourly legal services range, on average, from $300-$500 an hour. Pro bono services are offered to people that cannot afford to pay regular legal fees. “The Firm is proud to stand beside Vincent and support him with his continued efforts to give back to our community” said Michael.

Vincent was born in central California and moved to Palm Coast in 1999. He was among the first graduating class of Matanzas High School in 2008. He went on to graduate from Flagler College in Saint Augustine in 2012 with a degree in Political Science. He then attended and graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2015 and ranked in the top quartile of his class.

Vincent specializes in consumer defense, appeals, debt collection defense, foreclosure defense, and real estate issues ranging from the purchase and sale of residential and commercial buildings, landlord tenant matters, and zoning and land use issues.
