How long will it take to get my settlement check?

It depends on the complexity of your case. After signing the release, the attorney will put together the settlement statement. From the total collected, your attorney will deduct the agreed upon attorney fee, any unpaid medical expenses, and any other expenses. After you sign the Settlement Statement, the attorney will issue a check to you from their Trust account in the net amount of your settlement.
