What do I do after an accident?

If you have been injured, make sure to receive prompt medical attention. If you have not been taken to the emergency room, you should take photos and videos of the accident scene and both vehicles and get contact information from any witnesses. You should not admit fault or apologize to anyone involved in the accident. Anything you say after an accident can be used against you if you decide to pursue a claim or lawsuit later.
