What if I am the party at-fault?

If you are fully at-fault, call your own insurance company, they will provide an attorney for you. If you are only partially at-fault, you can still recover from the other driver’s insurance company as long as the other driver is determined to be at least 51% at-fault. The percentage is merely a matter of negotiation with the insurance adjuster.
